 I've been wanting them to make one for a long time. But sadly, I think Michael Keaton is too old to be him now. :(
I just don't see a point. Was the first one that good??
Beetlejuice happens to be my all time favorite film and i think a sequel is unnecessary. leave it as is. and i don't think Burton has what it takes anymore, c'mon, look at Corpse Bride, Willy Wonka, and Alice in Wonderland. not. that. great. he may be able to come up w/ something good, but not as classic as the original Beetlejuice. that film was nonstop creativity.
Like wanting to look at a car wreck, here is a small part of me that would have liked to see Beetlejuice Goes Hawaiian.
Only way to keep the original cast is to have Lydia Deetz a grown women with kids and the kids or the family are threatened or something.
Maybe work in the current trend of ghost hunting into the story. Since that was a major plot point NOT to reveal themselves as ghosts.
Unfortunately Glenn Shadix and Sylvia Sydney are no longer with us.
Woah. That's random. I completely agree with Flickering Bulb. Tim Burton is not what he used to be like in his Beetlejuice and Edward Scissorhands days. I do not have a great feeling about this. I just wonder, why make this movie now?
