Saturday night was spent watching In Good Company again. I saw it last weekend, but my Saturday night girls were insistant upon seeing it (last week, they saw Coach Carter). I didn't mind.... I mean... I got to see Topher Grace again and that's never a bad thing.

Today, I traveled solo to the theatre to see Finding Neverland and an encore of Sideways. I had every intention of seeing Hotel Rwanda today, but ended up at the bookstore with yet ANOTHER mocha.

I've seen Sideways twice now too. It just makes me feel peaceful. It's such a good movie. Paul G. is the man. Thomas Haden Church was really really good....he was my favorite guy on Wings (I had a crush on him bigtime when I was 18!!!), so it's hard to see him outside of that role, but ho-lee. He is SO good in this character.

We did a back-to-back movie spree on Saturday....Sideways, then Hotel Rwanda (it's just so good....everyone needs to see it), Finding Neverland (I'm glad I saw it....wasn't looking forward to it, but the performances were outstanding), and my second time seeing A Very Long Engagement (probably my favorite movie of the past year...by far).

I really want to see In Good Company, too. I know I'll love it. But first we have more Oscar contenders to see like Bad Education, Being Julia, and Kinsey.

At home we're watching Strangers with Candy Season 2. Loving it!! It's just so wrong!!!

We have 20 movies from AFI's top 100 list on hold at the library....things like Citizen Kane, the Godfathers, etc. We'll start on those soon.....we're movie binging lately!!!

Just watched White Noise and from someone with a huge Paranormal interest...this movie was a very big dissappointment but the next day I went and saw Finding Neverland and loved every second of it. Touched the imaginitive artist in me.

    I love the movie binges!!

There are absolutely NO movies near me whatsoever. The only one of real merit for me nearby is Hotel Rwanda. So, I may go see that on Friday night. Kinsey played in 2 nearby theatres for only one week. When I was ready to go see it, it was gone. The little po-dunk area... probably got scared about a movie about Sexual Research.

I have to go up to Sacramento to see Kinsey.

Right now, I have absolute dorkiness from Netflix: Anchorman: The Legend of Tom Burgandy, Dumb and Dumberer, and Wicker Park. I need to return them so I can watch the following movies: Employee of the Month, We Don't Live Here Anymore, and Camp (which I love so much... I need to see again!).

We saw Sideways on Saturday (loved it, very surprised). We had plans to see more today but chose to be lounge lizards at home and watched the 2003 Dangerous Liaisons with Catherine Deneuve, Natasia Kinsky, Lele Sobieski and Rupert Evert(yummmmmmmm). We've been on a Dangerous Liaisons kick and now own 4 versions of the story.

We need to get cracking on the 8 more films we would like to see in the next month.

I finished Anchorman: The Legend of Tom Burgandy.

It was decent. I did, though, stop watching Dumb and Dumberer because it was TOO stupid for me.

Time to sleep while "watching" Shaun of the Dead....

I think we're going to watch Eternal Sunshine.......... tonight. I really can't stand Jim Carrey and his school of overacting, but I will give it a shot for Kate Winslett.

Yes, it is Kate that swayed me. But, sadly, we didn't see it tonight. No copies were waiting for us a Target.

I just saw Two Brothers... which gets a huge thumbs-up from me! If you're an animal lover, don't miss it. It's amazing how they can get so much emotion and plot across with their footage of the tigers!
