    G.I. Joe: Retaliation

Looks better than the first. Here's the first trailer, presented by Dwayne Johnson:

I hated the first one but this sequel looks amazeballs.

I have to admit, as bad as the first one is, it's kind of become one of my guilty pleasures.

That said, this one looks great. The fact that they totally cleaned house other than Duke can only be a good thing, although I will miss Scarlett.

I have to play catch-up. I still haven't seen the first. But as far as trailers go, this one definitely looks better.

If only they could do a G.I. Joe/Transformers mash-up in the future...

I thought the first one was fun, if a bit (or a lot) cheesy. I particularly enjoyed the Baroness chewing up the scenery.

This one looks okay, but almost too serious for the subject matter.

I think if it's a military show done in live action, it NEEDS to be serious. The action and stunts need to be plausible for the audience to even care. But having The Rock in the lead role and Bruce Willis tells me that there's going to be a wink at the audience at all times. Doesn't mean there won't be casualties though.

The first one was just stupid. 100% stupid. At every possible moment. Try explaining the story and highlights to someone and you'll end up going "you know what... nevermind."

Me too, as bad a certain things were, I just love how over-the-top it all is.

The sequel trailer is great and it looks like they're going a different direction.
