I'm hooked since last season! I love this show. My favourite was Nikko Smith. Not only was he a son of the greatest Cardinal that ever lived ( I'm a cardinal fan ), but he also had originality and a great voice. I'm glad that Carry won though. She's so HOT.
Do you fear death? You fear that dark abyss? All your deeds laid bail. All your sins PUNISHED.
I heard that it was going to start Teus/Wed then go to Wed/tHur? Is that true?
Dunno about Bo's CD but Carrie's is really good!
Good morning, son
In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
It was pain
Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
one of my freinds from drama club tryed out for this season...he is a really great singer... one of the best ive heard in person, but they said he was too young, and they didnt think he could handle the preasure so he didnt get in

Re: American Idol starts January 17th!
Let me know when the real competition begins. I refuse to watch the abusive Simon put down thousands of people on television that can't sing. It's not nice and not good viewing.
Meanwhile when the competition begins the show is awesome because the winner has to show they can sing anything (from Disco to Country to classic songs from the american song book, in addition to the bubblegum crap of today)
this is my first buzzed post in the DMCA -- I'm really in this club because I'm a bitch more than anything. I've only had to hit the backspace 4 (oops, make that 5) times in (now 7) in this (now 9) (now 15) in this post! Damn, now I'm up to 18! Our neighbors were (19) (20) making tequilla sunrises. I thought I couldn't do tequilla (22) anymore but (24) this stuff (26) was good! It started (27) with an s
I am not a fan of the show but I wish I was. It's so popular I feel like I'm part of the out crowd. The show is just so contrived. I mean, they say they have to get past a first set of judges before they even make it before Paula, Randy, and Simon. Yet we see all these horrible singers get bashed before Simon. How the heck did they make it that far?
Plus the only winner that actually became something was Kelly and that was the first season! The rest of them have about five minutes and then fade off.
Lastly, at the risk of being a sexist, I only stop on it once in a while to see Paula. I had a crush on her when I was a kid.
It's a bit of a guilty pleasure for me. There are 2 types of AI viewers in this world, the ones who only tune in for the bad auditions and the ones who only tune in for the real talent. I hated Fantasia, but compared to the others in her season, she was deffinitely the rightful winner (though I think it's great that Jennifer Hudson beat her out for the role in Dreamgirls). Last year was pretty tough competition though.
I know 2 people who auditioned for this season, but neither made it to TV. One friend of mine would most likely do quite well, but apparently they want an R&B person this year because they told him he was too rock (he's actually quite versatile, but wasn't given the opportunity to show that). Last I heard he was going for Nashville Star. He's not at all a country person, but he'll do anything to make it as a singer at this point.
