    Chicken Little on DVD 3/21

'Chicken Little' coming home to roost

Chicken Little is looking for a big impact on DVD when it lands March 21 ($30). The film grossed $133.2 million since arriving in theaters Nov. 6.
A look inside the computer-generated animation process is among the DVD bonus features, along with three alternate opening scenes, a trivia game and music videos by Barenaked Ladies (One Little Slip) and the Cheetah Girls (Shake Your Tail Feather).
Prominent in the behind-the-scenes footage are director Mark Dindal (The Emperor's New Groove) and the stars who provided voices for the computer-generated characters, such as Zach Braff, Garry Marshall, Joan Cusack and Steve Zahn.

I wish more animated movies would include more footage of the voice actors voicing the films. I love that.

Will the DVD have a 3-D version?

    Most likely no.

I have an autostereoscopic screen and some glasses for such a purpose as that, too!

I have a feeling the film will do pretty well in DVD sales. It wasn't the most popular computer animated movie ever, but I still think there was an interest in the movie from the public... Not enough interest to see it in theaters, but enough to buy the DVD.

There's plenty of films released this past year that would have loved to have had this kind of "lack of" interest at the box office,
    Domestic: $133,270,228 53.5%
    + Overseas: $115,643,000 46.5% = Worldwide: $248,913,228

the home entertainment division will do very well!

Yes and quite often the programming doesn't work with the basic polorized lenses and sometimes needs the red/blue ones instead. So just we might have them doesn't have them dosen't quite mean they will work.

But I am excited to see what they put on this dvd as far as extras and especially a commentary! A commentary could be interesting with all of the references to other films, etc. in Chicken Little.
