Parks give Disney net a good ride
"Attendance was up, restaurant and hotel lodgings were up. Theme park attendance was up," said Michael Cuggino, president of Pacific Heights Asset Management in San Francisco.

The company set a holiday-season attendance record at its U.S. theme parks. Higher sales of consumer goods at the parks and higher room rates lifted profit at the unit. Attendance at Walt Disney World rose 5 percent in the quarter. Per-person spending rose 3 percent and per-room spending rose 9 percent.
