So what ever happened to the others?

We all know what happened to Walt and to Roy, but what ever happened to his other brothers Herbert and Raymond and his sister Ruth? Where did they end up? What businesses did they go into? How many kids did they have and who is still living? I always found it odd that so few Disney relatives ever appear on any Disney documentaries. Does anyone have any information?

Walt's brother Herbert invested in Disney (at Walt and Roy's suggestion) and became a reletively rich man. He got married and had a family, but passed away many years ago.

Ray never married. He became a postman. Walt talks about him in the old Walt Disney Story film. Walt says that Ray lead a much simpler life and sometimes he (Walt) wishes he had become a postman instead. Walt calls Ray the "smart Disney." Ray lived the longest of the four brothers. He passed away about 15 years ago and is burried in Forrest Lawn Cemetary in Glendale not far from Walt & Lilly.

Ruth lived in Portland for many years and stayed in touch with Lilly. They remained friends for many years after Walt passed away.

:O Thats very informative! You know what I find cool, how walt has an apartment in disneyland. And that lights still on, well untill the bulb burns out :P Did he die in that apartment? Is that why the lights always on?
