Another Commander Leaves Chief
http://www.hollywoodsmasterstorytell...tID=13512&Pg=1Steven Bochco will be stepping down from his duties as showrunner on ABC's Commander in Chief, which is set to return in April.
The Bush administration may be the most secretive in reality, but ABC's Commander in Chief is giving it a run for its money in the fictional dimension. The show has apparently lost…and not lost…another showrunner. Daily Variety reports television veteran Steven Bochco is no longer the day-to-day boss at the show.
Bochco is, however, still listed as executive producer of the series, and Steven Bochco Productions is still the production company of record. Bochco took over as showrunner early in the run of the series after Rod Lurie exited…but Lurie, too, is still involved with the show.
