The Sopranos 'watch or else' threat/thread

    (':
    'Sopranos' starts on high note
    By Robert Bianco, USA TODAY

With The Sopranos, time is relative.

Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini) is feeling "not myself"
    as Season Six opens. HBO

True, it has been almost two years since the show's last new episode, an interminable and probably terminal delay for any other series. But as it proves with Sunday's amazing, instantly re-addictive return, The Sopranos isn't just any series. It's a diamond: rare, polished and beautiful, yet capable of cutting through to the bone.

Interesting choice of words, there, HM.

What confuses me is that they get some new characters and throw them in as if they've been there all along.
Also, it's hard to tell how much "time" has passed since the last season.
But, it's an excellent show, and I'm patient with it.

LOL, I said "hanging" lol. I think the time frame they referenced was about 1 year since last season; but it sure seems like a lot did happen. I was shocked we saw Adiranna, rather Adrianna's ghost that Carm was talking too, what was that!! I guess foreshadowing... maybe.

I hate that they toss in new people all the time, and you are expected to know and accept that they were always part of the family, and last night, there was a very little believe backstory to the "hanger".

Does anyone know what the bodycount is up to on the show???

WOW! THAT'S how you come back after almost 2 years - ghost dream, sushi, taxi hit & run, more informants, Florida real estate, a hanging and gun shots!

It's the best show on TV with an E Street Band member in it - 'Silvio'
Little Steven Van Zant (forever "Miami Steve" to me!)

Close second: Late Night w/ Conan O'Brien starring "Mighty" Max Weinberg

HBO has thoughtfully included a 'survivor' map on their site:

Just in case people STILL haven't watched it:

    Spoiler

I liked when Carmela got jealous of Tony's going to the sushi place alone. And that he doesn't like Arty's food. Probably going somewhere with this. There are about 10 stories going on.

I can not believe how good last night's episode was. It was so emotional! Great acting from Edie Falco! It was weird to hear Tony without his accent!
