LAS VEGAS -- Pixar Animation Studios opened the CG garage door to reveal "Cars," its newest plush and feature-rich family vehicle, before a captive audience of theater owners at ShoWest on Tuesday night.

The overflow crowd watched a sneak peek of the next Pixar film, "Ratatouille," and Pixar's latest Oscar-nominated short film, "One Man Band." The screenings were preceded by a brief introduction from Walt Disney Studios chariman Dick Cook, who congratulated Pixar and John Lasseter on its 20th anniversary. Lasseter also picked up ShoWest's inaugural Pioneer of Animation Award.
