Knott's Berry Farm Press Release

Attention All Adventure Seekers! Knott's Berry Farm Strikes Camp and Sets out on Safari

BUENA PARK, Calif.--March 13, 2006--Starting April 8 through 23, Knott's Berry Farm's Camp Snoopy is "striking camp" and setting off on Snoopy's Spring Safari. What was once a quiet retreat in the wilderness, has been transformed into a wild expedition into the untamed jungle featuring a variety of activities for explorers 11 and under.

To become a true safari surveyor everyone must dress the part and on Snoopy's Tropical Trek you can collect everything you need. Follow the treacherous trail gathering such essentials as a pith helmet, animal print bandana, compass and real binoculars. By the end of your journey, adventure seekers will be equipped to spot the wildest of beasts!

On Woodstock's Safari Train it's time to pack up your cargo and climb on board for a wild ride through the remote areas of Camp Snoopy. On this rural railroad the whole family will encounter a host of untamed creatures in their not so natural habitats including Gorilla Grotto, Lion's Glade and Crocodile Rock.

Take a break from exploring and join the Peanuts gang in "Charlie Brown's Jungle Journey" at the Camp Snoopy Theatre. This live, all-new musical revue stars Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus and Sally in an adventure through some uncharted terrain where you never know what you will encounter.

At the Lost Ruins of the Golden Beagle, Snoopy greets explorers and sends out safari teams through an interactive jungle that offers up more fun than fear and ends with the sweetest of treats.

Snoopy's Spring Safari runs daily April 8-23 and is included with regular park admission, adults $39.95 and children (ages 3-11) and seniors (62 and older) only $14.95.
