I've seen the commercial on TV for the past few weeks now and I thought the same thing..."OMG, it looks like Madagascar!" :thumbdown I really hope it's not cause' Madagascar was soooooo not entertaining to me.Quote:

The only difference is that "The Wild" is abou animals seaching for a kidnapped Lion Cub. But everything else is the same. Madigascar & wild take place in New York, The main characters are lions, each lion has a giraffe side kick, and both movie will be/are bad.
I thought Chicken Little looked bad ... although I did end up liking it.
I think it looks pretty good. I loved Madagascar and it does sort of look like it, but I'm looking forward to seeing The Wild, too. Chicken Little, I had no desire to see and now I've seen it 3 times and still laugh at the jokes. I refuse to pass judgement until I've watched the movie, but from the previews, I'm looking forward to it.
Keep in mind that "The Wild" wasn't actually produced by Disney, it was acquired by Disney the same way that "Valiant" was from another animation studio, although I don't recall which animation studio actually did it.
