Disney Employee Accused Of Having Child Porn On Computer

A 20-year-old Disney employee was arrested on charges of possessing child pornography after he apparently left the images visible on his computer screen and his roommates noticed them, according to a police report.


Investigators said Theodore Wendin, who is in the Walt Disney World College Program, left a computer running on his bed at his home located at 1675 E. Buena Vista Drive.


Wendin's roommates said they observed an image and contacted Disney management, who then notified the sheriff's office.


Officers seized the computer and found 72 images of child pornography, the police report said.


During questioning, Wendin confessed, the report said.

I'm actually surprised this isn't discovered more often at Disney.

Individuals with compulsions or addictions will always tend to maximize exposure to their supply, with minimal effort. And what better way for a non-professional MAA (minor-attracted adult) to have close contact with children, than at a theme park?

Some basic facts of human psychology:

Arsonists will become firefighters.

Drug addicts will become drug dealers.

MAAs will become priests, teachers, Scout leaders, and carnival or amusement park workers.


This is the uglier side of the human condition, but still an integral part of human nature. And it will never be completely eradicated.

If you're concerned about sexual predators in your neighborhood, schools, or even the theme parks and resorts you and your family vacation at, then teach your children how to stay safe, and how to fight back. Kids might be physically small, but they're far more powerful than people realize. Empowerment can be taught, and is the best weapon a minor has against sexual solicitation and attempted abduction.
