    Re: 80's/90's Disney Animation Thread

I was a huge Gummi Bears and DuckTales fan as a child! I remember running home from the school bus so I could catch DuckTales on channel 29 in Philly at 4:00PM in the afternoon....WOOO-HOO!!

I figured gummiberry juice was just grape juice. So when my mom would buy it, I'd drink it and bounce around the house pretending I was Sunni.

Just remember without a well written Disney Villain, there would be no point in the Heroes and the Princesses. Have you hugged a Disney Villain today?

Cool Re: 80's/90's Disney Animation Thread

As far as the early stuff I definitely wouldn;t miss Ducktales, or Rescure Rangers. Gummi Bears, and Pooh were not to be missed on Saturday mornings. Didn't care too much for Tale Spin or Darkwing though. Later on Goof Troop, Quack Pack, timon N Pumba were faves.

Oh and I forgot that there was a Hercules cartoon too. that was cool.

Oh, I forgot to include Hercules in my list, too...

Buzz Lightyear looks to be the first one to come after the 90s.

    Re: 80's/90's Disney Animation Thread

Am I the only one that remembers Raw Toonage?

It was VERY short lived (in fact, they didn't get to produce all 13 of the first season's episodes), but it did spin off two other series: Bonkers (the pre-cop era shorts on Bonkers were reruns from Raw Toonage) and Marsupilami. Although, technically, Marsupilami was only a liscensed character (big lawsuit came from that, too).

I watched Winnie the Pooh on Saturday mornings on ABC, LOVED Ducktales! Even watch it now and then on my TiVo, for some reason it records it for me Used to watch Tale Spin, Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers (get the same thing on my TiVo), Darkwing Duck, and Goof Troop and I think that's about it. Crap now I got the Rescue Rangers theme song in my head.

Does anyone ever remember watching the live action Winnie the Pooh series on The Disney Channel?

I really loved that show, I remember this one episode they went camping and Piglet and Pooh were scared because they heard noises and they thought it was heffalumps and woozles and it was just Tigger. LOL

That would be Welcome to Pooh Corner.

That and Dumbo's Circus were must-watches for me every day. Wish I could see them again.
