Disney Channel picks up 2 half-hours

Disney Channel has picked up two live-action pilots from some of the creatives behind its two top-rated series, including a spinoff of "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" and another from a consulting producer on "Hannah Montana." "Housebroken" is a half-hour multicamera project that centers on the "Suite Life" character of Arwin the handyman moving in with his sister to take care of her kids. The actor portraying the recurring role of Arwin on "Suite Life" is Brian Stepanek. The project is from executive producers Danny Kallis, Pamela Eells and Irene Dreayer. Kallis and Eells are writing, with Rich Correll directing the pilot. Kallis and Dreayer are executive producers on "Suite Life," while Correll has directed episodes of the series, and Eells has written for the show
