    Thank You "Seventh Heaven"

I, for one, am a fan of this series, and will not apologize for it. I didn't catch on until about season five (then backtracked through re-runs).

I am sure that there are many on these boards that don't like the show.

    It's not violent.

    It's not hip.

    It's not edgy.

They don't sprinkle in four-letter words like sugar on cereal.

    Sometimes it's a bit corny.

Sometimes a "bit" preachy (and I don't always agree with what's being preached).

But for whatever reason, I love the characters, the writing, the plot lines...and it's great to see that a show like this has lasted ten seasons in prime time.

    The final episode airs tonight.

    I'll miss the Camdens.

Thank you, WB Network, the producers and all the people that made this show possible.

    Re: Thank You "Seventh Heaven"

I was going to start a thread. I didn't think that I had the time. We are on our way out the door, to watch our "Angel" play baseball. That's my grandson, Sean who is on the Angels in his division at Warren Park, here in Chicago. So far his team is undefeated at 2 and O. I know, it's early.

Back to 7th Heaven. I like that show, so I have set up my VCR and I look forward to watching the last episode. I guess Simon really is going to marry Rose, and Mary is really going to rise up from wherever she's been all this time.

I will post later my reactions to viewing the final episode.

*sigh* Although I haven't watched in a long time, I secretly adore Seventh Heaven, and I was terribly sad to see that it's coming to the end of its run. Even if it was kind of hokey, I enjoyed many an episode.

    Re: Thank You "Seventh Heaven"

Are they ending it because artings are down, actors want to do new things, it is still very popular and don't want to overdo it with new episodes, did they run out of storylines, or what??

    Why are they cancelling it?

the kids grew up and now it's boring. They got 2 small boys who cannot act at all and most of the chracters acting is very uninspired, but I think they ahve always acted that way. It's like they are reading off of somehting when they act. It sounds scripted and acting should not.

I am sad to see this show go it was full of family values and social awareness , writing to soilders, campbels lables for schools ect... in this day and age maybe it was bold to not throw in 4 letter words, no violence, be corny and maybe a little preachy. I will have my box of tissues by my side watching the final episode tonight
