The chief of Walt Disney's parks and resorts said Tuesday that he expects the gentler version of Epcot's Mission: Space to attract more guests than before once it debuts this summer.

"I think we're going to find that the demand for Mission: Space is going to be higher than it's ever been now that we've kind of broadened the offer to our guests who are not really out there to seek thrills," Jay Rasulo, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, said in an interview at the Travel Industry Association of America's annual trade show in Orlando.
