Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause (Trailer)

    http://disney.go.com/disneypictures/index.html

The trailer to this 3rd installment is online. I didn't see it before and thought maybe I should start a thread. It looks decent.

Click on "Trailers" on the left. A window should scroll down, click on "The Santa Clause 3".

This looks interesting. I wonder if Wendy Crewson is back as Calvin's wife?

I like the 'Nightmare before Christmas' music playing in the background.

Although it won't be the same without Bernard, judging by the trailer, SC3 looks to capture the humor that made the original so great. And I'm also glad they brang back the counsel from SC2 (with Mother Nature, Molinator, etc).

    We all know Disney.....

Maybe towards the last minute, it'll get pulled and get released on DVD.

I don't know what everyone has against this movie. Personally, I thought the original was a Christmas classic. It is tied as my favorite holiday movie (along with the Grinch). I thought the second one was also very nicely done. I liked some part of it better than the original & really liked Toy Santa (and his references to Toy Story).

Dr. Dolittle isn't Disney, it's Fox.

Either way, SC3 will definitely be going to theaters on November 3rd, 2006. The original grossed $144m domestically and the second made $140m domestically. With little competition, it is almost guaranteed to make a lot of money (specially since it looks to have the charm of the original). It's only family competition for the rest of the year pretty much is Flushed Away & Happy Feet (both which I'm positive will bomb). November & December is void of any definitely-going-to-be-huge/Potter-like movies.

I never had anything against this movie, and I never said that Dr Dolittle 3 was made by Disney either. I was just saying that at anytime, a movie set for theatrical release can be pulled and go straight to dvd.

According to imdb, yes she is. Pretty much all the characters reprise their roles from SC2. Judge Reinhold is back as Neil, Spencer Breslin is Curtsis again, Elizabeth Mitchell is Mrs. Claus, Erick Lloyd is Charlie, Kevin Pollack is Cupid, Art LaFleur is Tooth Fairy & Aisha Tyler is Mother Nature. (Not listed as being in the 3rd movie is the Easter Bunny, Sandmand or Father Time (but that doesn't mean they won't be in it).
