    Re: The Little Mermaid at El Capitan - 9/7 - 9/17

    I'm going on Sunday... and I'll be wearing a "Happy Birthday" button... I'm also considering going to Ariel's Grotto for dinner afterwards.

    Basically, a Little Mermaid fans dream panel. And I'm stuck in Modesto. I have school, and Dress Rehersal for Beauty and the Beast. Man, I'd love to be at this thing, even though I loath digital projection.

    Please tell me someone will be kind enough to post the details afterwards... ^_^;;
    Gahhhh, Glen Keane is the most amazing artist EVER. And the panel is sold out.

    Yes, I believe Disneystore.com is allowing pre-orders.

    I just got back, it was a truly wonderful night. Alan Menken showed up and Jodi sang "Part Of Your World" while he accompanied her on the piano! Did anyone get video or take pics?

    I sure did! It'll probably be posted tomorrow on ANOTHER site. I have pics and video although I'd probably get in trouble for linking to it since its at ANOTHER site.

    Please do post the link as I'd love to see it. Or please PM me the link. Thanks.

    I really wanted to go last night, but I already had plans to go to a concert, so there was no way to swing it. We're going Saturday night, and we plan to have dinner at the Soda Fountain afterward.

    CrazyLegs and I videotaped the entire thing. We'll be posting it all soon once we get it edited and encoded.

    For now, enjoy Jodi Benson and Alan Menken's performance of 'Part of Your World' since I was able to quickie upload it to YouTube:

    Nice job Sadako, we were sitting probably two or three rows in front of you... Directly across from the children that cried the entire night.

    OK, SaraNoH and I are going this Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.! Anyone want to go and make it a MiceChat gathering? (Ok, it will be anyway 'cuz we've never met each other!)

    I've put up a page with a few pictures from our evening visit seeing the film including the new themed dessert at the soda fountain.

    Here's the link: http://www.colddeadfish.net/arielatelcap.html.

    Thanks!
