The Little Mermaid at El Capitan - 9/7 - 9/17
The El Capitan will be screening a digital enhanced version of "The Little Mermaid" from September 7 through September 17, presumably as part of the re-release of the film on DVD.
The El Capitan website doesn't mention it (and why doesn't it?), but at the El Capitan box office, it mentions that there will be a panel discussion on the first night, September 7. It also mentions that you can see Ariel live, presumably at each showing.
I'm disappointed that we won't be able to go for the panel discussion because we already have plans that night, but we'll probably see the film there during its run.

ORDDU: Well, my sisters and I already have our own tickets bought and paid for. We're flying all the way in from Morva just to be there for Ariel's benefit. Perhaps we'll see some of you!

I'm up for a meet for this. I haven't got tickets yet, but I heard on a podcast earlier today that elcapitantickets.com or the box office phone number has them. I do want to see this.

Basically, a Little Mermaid fans dream panel. And I'm stuck in Modesto. I have school, and Dress Rehersal for Beauty and the Beast. Man, I'd love to be at this thing, even though I loath digital projection.

Just got my VIP seating tix for tomorrow nights show! 4th row! And it's going to be a date (My 3rd date with him to be exact)! I'm so excited!!! :yea:
Now to figure out what I'm going to wear...
