    Arrrr! Pirates slammed with lawsuit

Screenwriter claims blockbuster is based on his characters and ideas

Screenwriter Royce Mathew is suing producers of the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie, claiming he came up with most of the ideas.

In a lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court in California, Mathew claims he “created and wrote a number of original works including drawings, screenplays, outlines, blueprints, storyboards and other original materials” for a project he titled Super Nature Pirate Movie.

His credits include Virgin High, Assault of the Killer Bimbos, and Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama.

I think Mr. Mathew's stellar writing credits kind of say it all, don't you?

Wait... is this another lawsuit?! Most of the stuff at DisneyLawsuit.com has been taken down, so I can't find a name.

Of course, I'm sure he can't prove that they ever looked past the title of Super Nature Pirate Movie Boogaloo Nifty Adventure Squad! I'd think that's pretty much a given that no studio in their right mind would even get past the cover of that screenplay.

Considering that most of the ideas came from the theme park ride, how can this lawsuit even be taken seriously
