DVD release for Over The Hedge

Was in a trade magazine as Octover 17, 2006. I think all the big movies this year, including Cars, Pirates 2, Monster House, etc will all be on DVD before the Holiday season. The windows between Movie and DVD are getting shorter and shorter.

Which is one more reason we don't go to the movies as much anymore.

If they were smart they'd release them before Christmas - sales, sales, sales. We rarely go to the "big" theater - we wait and go to the dollar movie - or to the drive-in

Will trade husband for Disneyland and DCA Pins!

^ That's why summer blockbusters are huge moneymakers . Get released in the summer when school's out and video release for Christmas season. $$$$$$$$$$. But I think that was your point anyways. Making this post pointless...

I never got to see Over the Hedge this spring so I'll definitely be at least renting it.

Sure wish that we have D/I's down here to go to...except for one in the City Of Industry...covering LA, Orange and Ventura Counties...that's the only one left...

I can see the day coming, when you will go to the big screen theater and watch the movie, and then purchase the DVD on the way out. The DVD's would only be sole in the theater during the exit and if you don't see the movie in the theater, you can't get the DVD that day, you would have to wait until they go on sale a few months later in the stores. There are many movies I have seen at the theater and wished I could by the DVD that day.
