No More Country Music On LA Radio, Rick Dees Is Back

I read this same article yesterday in the LA Times and was completely surprised that they were eliminating this station. I was wondering if just so many people are now listening to iPods or other sources of music and just not listening to the radio. I personally hardly ever listen to the radio.

Too bad for all those country fans! I know that back in the day when I liked country this was a great station!

Come on...like LA needed another freak'n hip hop station. Every station out here is crap like that! I'm really bummed about this...and to make matters worse, they put some 80's DJ has-been in it's place...LA stinks! Hey at least they can't touch the Tiki Room, we need some traditional values around here!

He also has the most annoying voice on radio (I used to have KIIS-FM as my alarm wake up, Rick Dees' voice would get me out of bed and across the room to kill the alarm clock ASAP). The only thing funny about Rick Dees is his apparent contest with Joan Rivers to see who can have the most work done.
