    Coachella - Anyone else go?

I'm curious if anyone here attended the Coachella Music Festival. I was there both days and had a blast.

    Any favorites?

I'll share mine a bit later.

I only live like 40 miles away but had to work and couldn't go!!!! Maybe next year. I won't even be able to go to the Joshua Tree Music Festival ( a much much smaller more indie event), since I'll be out of town. I miss all the best stuff!

Joshua Tree look great as well but I'm surprised the home-grown Gram Rabbit isn't playing.

I haven't even had a chance to look at the JT Festival website to see who is going to be there! I was totally blown away to see Gram Rabbit at Coachella!! Might not have fit in their schedule or something. Yet another reason I wish I could of gone... I haven't even heard their stuff yet!

Gram Rabbit was in my Top 4 acts this year. They put on a great show and their album is one that I can't take out of my player.

My other favorite acts were Bauhaus, Dresden Dolls and Arcade Fire. These 4 really stood out as incredible this year. I was so afraid Bauhaus was going to disappoint like the Cure did last year, but they were as tight as when I saw them in '81.

I have some pictures of the "dancing rabbits" that came on stage for a couple of GR's songs. They also handed out bunny ears to the crowd.

I didn't attend. We went to see Open Call at the McCallum Theater Saturday night which is an amateur talent project and really an impressive show.

Today's New York Times did a large piece on Coachella Valley Music Festival so I've posted the link to it. Sounds like it was a great event!

    Great article! Thx.

I'm looking for a pic of Peter Murphy hanging like a bat on stage. Both Peter and Daniel Ash are STILL hot looking!
