Walt Disney World lands Monopoly board spot
Orlando's Walt Disney World has replaced Illinois Avenue on the new Monopoly: Here & Now edition, the makers of the game board announced this morning.

At $2.4 million for the Disney property, Orlando beat out other large American cities such as Phoenix and Honolulu, whose landmarks will cost $2.2 million each.

What with the money increase? Inflation hit this game hard. Nice to see some familiar places though, Times Square, JFK, and Mall of America, in my other home town.

Uh oh . . . bad form. On the www.monopoly.com website, the board they show says "Disney World" and not "Walt Disney World."
