Exciting New Attractions and Shows - Disneyland Resort Press Release

    Disneyland Resort Press Release

    Exciting New Attractions and Shows

New entertainment and attractions will debut at Disneyland Resort as part of “The Year of a Million Dreams,” including:

Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage – Inspired by Disney-Pixar’s hit animated film “Finding Nemo,” this all-new E-ticket adventure will take guests on a real (and unbelievable) underwater excursion at Disneyland Park. Thanks to amazing new technology and effects developed by Walt Disney Imagineering, Nemo and friends will appear exactly as they do in the film – but now in an actual, and incredible, three-dimensional underwater setting. (Summer 2007)

Rockin' Both Parks - Space Mountain at Disneyland and California Screamin’ at Disney’s California Adventure are getting new twists. For a limited time, beginning January 3, 2007, exciting new soundtracks and technology will temporarily transform each attraction into unique rock ‘n’roll experiences with music that will be custom choreographed to heighten the experience of every twist, turn and drop. Rockin’ Space Mountain will be a new experience in which rockets will launch guests through an out-of-this-world rock adventure thanks to the latest and greatest rock ‘n’ roll lighting and technology. Along with new technology and lighting, all systems are go. Riders of California Screamin’ at Disney’s California Adventure will also be treated – and bopping – to a new groovin’ soundtrack. On-board rock 'n roll music will be choreographed to every twist, turn and drop. With a ride track-turned-soundtrack, this is one experience guaranteed to rock guests visiting the Paradise Pier section of the park. The rock ‘n’ roll adventure will last until April 2007. (January-April 2007)

Dream Paths – Young dreamers will be able to take part in a series of Dream Paths at both Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure. The young, or the young at heart, can immerse themselves in the wild worlds of pirates, or make their personal fairy tales come to life in Peter Pan’s Never Land, Aladdin’s Agrabah or the Royal Court of a Disney princess . A special “Little Dreamers/Big Dreams” path offers adventure and discovery for kids age 5 and under, (October 2006)

Disney’s HalloweenTime – Disney magic meets Halloween fun in this all-new seasonal event at Disneyland Resort. The Disneyland Resort will be tricked out in bewitching Halloween decor and will feature more fun than you can shake a broomstick at. Disneyland will be decked out with grinning Disney character jack-o-lanterns, while Mickey and his pals will be dressed up in their Halloween costumes. Meanwhile, Jack Skellington and his friends from “Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas” will take over the Haunted Mansion. Over at Disney’s California Adventure park, guests can “drop in” on the creepy staff of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and encounter the infamous Disney Villains at the “Golden Screams” Theater. (September 29- October 31, 2006)

Mickey Mouse Penthouse – As part of “The Year of a Million Dreams,” the famed Disneyland Hotel will play host to surprised guests who’ve been granted a complimentary night’s stay in one of the world’s most unique luxury hotel penthouses – fit for “big cheeses” large and small, with “everything totally Mickey” and the most spectacular views of The Happiest Place on Earth. (Late 2006)

Dream Paths sounds wonderful...Will the "little pirates" go on treasure hunts...will the "little princess" get to have tea with their favorite princess? Do you have any specifics on what is planned?
