Hi there, I just purchased Dumbo "Big Top Edition" and wanted to compare it to the one previous Dumbo "60th Anniversary". I just wanted to share my findings. It seems the new one is softer but less noise and is better color matched.

Wow that's a decent difference. I actually just saw big top edition today in the store and almost bought it, but wanted to come home and check online to be sure there wasn't some gold/platinum/whatever edition coming out soon.
that is a good difference, I too have wondered if I should get the Big Top edition and same with the upcoming Wanted edition of Robin Hood. I'd be interested to hear from more people who upgraded.

I'm not a big fan of the "Big Top Edition." Dumbo is in serious need of restoration:

So, which is the better one?
I love how bright the left one is, but the one of the right is sharper.
No words, My tears won't make any room for more,
And it don't hurt, like anything I've ever felt before, this is
No broken heart,
No familiar scars,
This territory goes uncharted...
Considering I own most of my Disney movies on VHS, I'm gradually "upgrading" my absolute faves to DVD.
