Wow, that was great, your pictures are awesome! What a beautiful campus. Its easy to see how Pixar turns out such quality work, they must have very happy employees. Thanks so much for a great report Oogie, it sounds like a day to remember.

Thanks for the insight in your visit to "PIXARland"! So neat
to see just a little of what has made PIXAR into a Powerhouse!
So fun to catch a glimpse of the creativity that is encouraged.
Wow! and to see ALL the Pixar shorts, including a couple new ones!
The shorts that I've seen are just as brilliant, if not, moreso than
the features they have produced!
I'm so glad that Lassetter is involve in Disney Animation and
Imagineering ~ hopefully he is encouraging the same kind of
creativity at Disney, since the "Eisner Sanction" ran animation
and Imagineering aground and shipwrecked it.
Critter Country's a mess ev'r since the Country Bears were kicked out. Ya can't cover pooh with honey and 'spect people ta like it.

Oogie...I'm insanely jealous. I drove through that area last year and was craning my neck hoping I would see something from the freeway, but no luck. This looks like such an amazing place to work. It seems to capture the same spirit I saw when I visited Cal Arts back in the 1980's, and the Disney Studio before they shipped all the animators out to Glendale. In fact...it looks like Disney Animation as it should have been. I'm bummed that they only do this once a year, but impressed that the proceeds go to the Emeryville School District. Is there a web link with info for next year, or is it just a local Emeryville thing?
