I had to vote for three.
Mary Poppins was my first choice (obviously) but I also had to include Herbie (how could someone not love Herbie !!) and old yeller is a classic. Your right though, there is soom for so many more classics.

Now, for this vote, Glad that you allowed multiple choices.
You might want to edit your first post to let others know they
    can choose more than one.

I voted for Mary Poppins, obviously the top choice, with
the Academy Award, one that Walt worked on, etc.

2nd, Song of the South, again an Academy Award winner,
And in spite of all the crap from potically correct $#(%*%*,
This is really one of Walt's best! And the word "beloved"
is certainly a perfect adjective to describe this movie. With
that said, Eisner AND IGER should be hanging their heads in
shame for denying the opportunity of new generations to see
this classic Walt Disney movie. Neither of these two could
show the fortitude and courage to stand up for one Walt's
finest movies. E and I ought to be flogged for their disrespect
of this wonderful movie. It's really incomprehensible that they
keep it locked away, and left to rot. Saying shame on them
is not enough. The music in Song of the South is absolutely
charming, as is the performance of James Baskett, and was
acknowledged by the Academy, as well. Standing ovation for
this movie. Boos and Hisses to Eisner and Iger for holding it
    hostage.

Next Up, Swiss Family Robinson. Exitement, Adventure, Fun,
Pirates, the Treehouse fantasy that every little kid, and many
grown ups would love to live in, and even inspired the original
    Treehouse in Disneyland.

I'm surprised, even with limited space, that you did not list
20,000 Leagues as a picture. That would definitely be in the
top 10 beloved Disney live action movies.

Pollyanna is charming too, and then round it off with Old Yeller,

I really wouldn't consider some of the newer movies on the list,
as most of production or all was done after Walt passed away.
Totally agree with you on SOTS. Though its been ages since I've seen it. I was always told Disney wouldnt show it out of respect for the NAACP, demeaning African Americans. But I've heard that the NAACP has no problem with Disney if they release it again.

And I am surprised I didn't include 20,000 leagues. My apologies. I just wish that the powers that be with Micechat would allow us more options for polls. Say, allow up to 15 or 20.

Re: The Most Beloved Disney Full Length Feature "Family/Live Action" Film

Actually, I pretty much love all Disney films but one...Old Yeller...

I actually went into complete and total hysterics when "that" scene happened (was a little kid then) and my parents had to take me outside to get me to try and calm down. I was so hysterical that I made myself sick.

To this day, even looking at the cover of the DVD brings back that feeling of pure terror (yeah..sorta sad.... scarred for life by a Disney Film). But seriously, that one about did me in.

(On a good note.. Bullwhip Griffen...OMG I loved that film!!)

Yes, I loved the original. I'm surprised I didn't think of that one either. I loved the voice of the narrator. He narrated for many other nature shows for Disney and I loved watching them.

Re: The Most Beloved Disney Full Length Feature "Family/Live Action" Film

There seems to be much missing from that list...

Some of my favorites that aren't listed - that even Merlin Jones didn't list...

The Reluctant Dragon (See Walt at work... Oh, yeah this was filmed in the middle of the infamous strike of 1941)

The Missadventures of Merlin Jones (MerlinJones? how could you miss Merlin Jones?)

Lt. Robin Crusoe USN (Dick Van Dike is god... Ok, a Tiki God...)

Blackbeard's Ghost (Peter Ustanov makes a great pirate)

Now you see him, now you don't
Strongest Man in the World (both Kirt Russel - was my hero growing up...)

Mighty Ducks (Possably one of the greatest Hockey movies ever made.)

Also now that it owns controlling rights

    The Muppet Movie
    The Great Muppet Caper
    Muppets Take Manhattan

I would have chosen Babes in Toyland. But Pete's Dragon is a strong 2nd and Mary poppins would have been my 3rd choice.
