I work for a theatrical lighting company and I had a rep from Disney Stores Inc (IE Childrens Place) call me about some fog machine specs for a display that would come out in Spring next year. She did not say what type of display it was but it will need a Small Fog Machine and a timer.

400 to 800 units need to be purchased, I am just wondering what would use smoke as a effect... Movie, event or what?

That would be a bit much for an event... I'd say they'd be installed in the stores for some sort of display in the spring.

I was going to say, that many machines in one place would have a huge output of fog, unless you had lower output machines to use, I to am into the lighting effetcs, special effects, and pyro..... anyways... it might be some sort of special thing for christmas at each store, some places use fog to simulate frost, or cold mist... at might be used to simulate a cold effects for the christmas season at the stores.
