Sorry to babble on. I'm well aware that this is a Disney forum and that there are whole forums devoted to Star Wars and that everything's probably been very neatly solved over there, but hey. :o
It could be that Leia has memories of her mother through the Force.

Awhile I ago I read something called "If quentin tarantino directed Willy Wonka" it was absolutely hilarious, they just take pulp fiction quotes and change them to relate to WIlly Wonka. I can't post it for obvious reasons, but it was one of the funniest things i've read

I didn't see this thread before.

To answer that question, Lucas actually had a good answer. The reason he changed out to Hayden Christensen was because that was the form of the "Good" Anakin before he turned to the dark side. I guess it kind of makes sense to me.

Unfortunately I won't be able to see the movie until the week after it's released. But that's okay I guess.

I'm excited for this movie beyond belief...
Well, light travels from the sun. Then, bounces off of our planet, and back into our eyes so we can perceive color. My body can intercept that light and dance around on it!

check out this review based on a screening

    Warning: Major spoilers!!!!!

The main thing is that this movie is not for kids- a lot of parents seem to be mad because the imagry is waaaaay more intense than any of the previous films.

    DQ,
I've been reading the Star Wars book "Labyrinth of Evil" which basically begins after episode 2 and ends about 3 hours before the movie starts, so I'm pretty up to speed on the history between episodes 2 and 3. I just can't decide if I want to read the spoilers. What to do, what to do...

If you have been listening to the rumor mills on the internet, at least one I have heard is revealed to be true (It involves DV's transformation scene).

It does describe one scene that sounds very gruesome and disturbing to me- but when I discribed it to my husband (a major SW geek), his reaction was "well duh, what do you expect!"

So maybe I should revise it to say semi-major spoilers, with a few Lucas quotes thrown in for good measure.

I guess with this movie, since we all know basically what has to happen based on the rest of the series, it has been pretty easy to guess at the course of events that get us there. It is a film I almost don't want to see, because you just know it is going to be sad and hard to watch- no happy endings here.

Yeah, but the dark episodes(The Emipre Strikes Back) can be really good. You just have to go home afterwards, and watch episodes 4,5 and 6. Then you'll feel all better because Anakin DOES bring balance to the Force.
