    Disney on Ice - Opinions?

    Hi guys,
I am thinking about getting some Disney on Ice: Disneyland Adventure tickets next month. However, I've never been to a Disney on ice event. What do you guys think? Is it entertaining and worth the money? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

I went to the Toy Story one a few years back, and it kicked @$$. To see how it all plays out is well worth it. I'm definately going this year.

As much as I love Disney, I had never been to a Disney on Ice event until I started working at my local arena a few weeks ago. I got to see it as I worked it and then with my family and I really liked it.

It may vary from show to show, though. I am looking forward to them coming back to the HP Pavilion again soon!

We haven't gone for a few years (the shows didn't interest me), but we are tonight!

I love the Disneyland on Ice concept and the Pirates scene and castle look great. I'll let you know tomorrow.

I remember seeing the Ice shows (and before that the Disney on Parade) when I was a kid. At the time it was the closest thing to Disneyland as I was going to get

I've been to quite a few. I love them. I've gone with kids and without. It's always a good time. Be prepared to spend $$$, with tix, food and souveniers it gets a little expensive. I personally am going to the Disneyland Adventure. It starts in 2007.

I'm going in a few hours to that show....so must have started in 2006.

My five year old is wearing her Minnie costume. Love that kid. I didn't buy tickets for the older kids since we're going to DLR in two weeks. My eleven year wasn't interested and my eight year old is a little grumbly that she doesn't get to go, but it's actually an early bday present for the five year old anyway.

I forgot--we did go to the Monster's Inc show last year. That one was really cute. The one we went to before that was a Princess show, and that must have been three years ago. The only one enthralled was my youngest and she was three. I thought we skipped more than that--we seem to go every November to one of these shows.....

Anyway, I'll let you know how she and I like it tomorrow.

I thought about going once I heard it was Disneyland themed, but the one coming to Sioux Falls is "100 years of Disney", so we are passing this time.

    I haven't been since I was a kid though.

You haven't lived until you've seen Mickey do a triple-triple combo.

I took pics last night, I'll post them tomorrow. I should start making dinner soon.

The show was good--I'll post more when I do the pics. Can't believe I forgot completely to do it today.....that's actually why I logged on this morning. Stupid attention span.

Remember, if you live in So Cal and have an AP, there's a tremendous deal on tickets for one of the Long Beach shows. Instead of $60 + $7.50 "convenience charge," you get tickets for $21 + $4 cc (that's even lower than the $28 price quoted in the AP magazine). For our little family of 3 that's a savings of $125!!!
