TOYS FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Free Admission To Six Flags Magic Mountain Theme Park December 3rd, 9th and 10th with A $15 Toy
VALENCIA, CA – Six Flags Magic Mountain, KTLA/CW, UPS and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southern California will join forces for the seventh annual Toys for the Holidays toy drive. All toys collected during the three-day event will be distributed by UPS to thousands of children at over 28 Boys and Girls Clubs in Southern California. The Clubs provide a safe haven and positive learning environment for underprivileged children between the ages of 6 and 18. Over the years, the toy drive has collected more than 600,000 toys for Southland youngsters making it one of the single most successful toy drive campaigns in the United States.
Six Flags Magic Mountain will offer free admission to anyone bringing a new, unwrapped toy valued at $15 or more to the theme park December 3, 9 and 10. Price tag and/or receipt should accompany the toys.
"As the number of underprivileged children in the Southland continues to grow, the demand for toys is greater than it’s ever been,” stated Del Holland, vice president and general manager of Six Flags Magic Mountain. “We’re calling for all Southern Californians to contribute to the toy drive and help make this holiday season brighter for children of all ages and backgrounds."
Free admission to Six Flags Magic Mountain with a toy donation includes unlimited use of the thrill park’s world-class roller coasters such as Tatsu, the fastest, tallest and longest flying coaster, Scream, Southern California’s first floor-less mega-coaster, X, the world’s first four-dimensional coaster, Goliath, still The Giant Among Coasters, Colossus, a classic “woodie,” Viper, Déjà vu and many more.
For the younger guests, experience dozens of family adventures, including the six-acre interactive children’s area featuring 16 rides and attractions that provide real thrills for kids and adults alike.
Six Flags Magic Mountain is located at 26101 Magic Mountain Parkway, Valencia, north of Los Angeles off Interstate 5 at the Magic Mountain Parkway exit. The family theme park is now open weekends and school holidays at 10 a.m. Closing hours vary. The theme park is open the weekends of Toys for the Holidays from 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The park is also open daily December 16 through January 7, 2007 (except Christmas Day).
