    Talking The Muppet Show!

Who remembers the classic Muppet Show? I just bought the first season on DVD and I'm loving it. I can remember watching episodes of it when I was really little but it's basically all new to me.

Who's your favorite muppet? Mine is Beaker

I also got the first season and am waiting for season two. I love Gonzo the Great. He is the funniest "thing" in the world trying all those crazy stunts. Teaming him with Rizzo Rat for "A Muppet Christmas Carol" was sheer genius! I am also waiting for the remaining seasons of Dinosaurs as well.

I have very strong memories of watching that show as a kid. It was my family's favorite.

I really need to get that DVD.

    Talking Re: The Muppet Show!

I loved the Muppet Show growing up, and have the first season DVD set, waiting on the second to come out later this year (finally!!!).

I don't know that I have a favorite muppet, per se, I like so many of them. But there are some TMS performances I loved and can't wait to own again, like Gene Kelly, Charlie Daniels (which I haven't seen in forever and wonder if I'm inventing it in my head, but I swear he did "The Devil Went Down to Georgia"), Harry Bellafonte, and many more.

haha, loved that show. I loved the old guys in the balcony. I can remember laughing at mostly everything they said when I was a kid. I always laughed at Beaker and the chef too. And ya gotta love Miss Piggy.

i love that show, my music teacher in high school used to play the theme song to get our attention, one day i surprised him by singing it, it caught him so off guard that he stopped playing. after that we sang it together all the time

I think it's funny how the Muppets sound different in the first season, like they didn't exactly have the right voices yet. And what's with Gonzo? He looks so different in TMS!

I like Kermit the best so that probably means I"m unoriginal. I didn't watch the muppet show until I was older. Fraggle Rock is what I watched.
