    Thumbs up The Apprentice

So, who will be watching? I never miss The Apprentice, it is by far my favorite reality show (despite Donald Trump!) The premiere is tonight!

    Re: The Apprentice

I'm in! Hubby likes the show because he likes the Trumpster, I like it because it is a reality show but with really intelligent people (who make the same dumb choices!!).
I love my awesome crazy wonderful friends!!

OK...but LAST season was hurting pretty bad. The dude with the guitar was an accident waiting to happen. I felt the show lost quite a bit of integrity at that point. (The guitar WAS last season...wasn't it?)

And starting with a car wash for the season opener...that sounds like Trump couldn't line up a sponsor in time. Hmmm....

I think the guitar guy was the second season actually. I am not sure, but I think it was at least a couple seasons ago. I don't even know what season we are on though.

He always does something really mundane for the first task. One season they sold lemonade on the street. That's pretty normal.

    Re: The Apprentice

frankly donald trump is way too full of himself and he is teaching his children to be dependent on him. I mean he fired carolyn, a woman with brains and beauty and instead put his vapid daughter in her place. Eye candy yes, but brains, I highly doubt it. and his eldest son is helping out as well. I guess he has to do something to earn a paycheck. I haven't watiched it since kelly was "hired" and I doubt I will watch now. btw making fun of overweight people doesn't help the man's image.

You obviously haven't watched, Ivanka is actually extremely intelligient. It isn't fair to judge her because of her looks and her father any more than it's fair to judge overweight people. She is great on the show. She was on last season a few times when Carolyn wasn't available and did almost as good a job as Carolyn did. She definitely has brains, my husband and I were just talking about that last night. You wouldn't necessarily expect it from Donald's kids, but I think he makes them work much harder than people think.

As far as I am concerned his whole spat with Rosie is separate from The Apprentice. Others may disagree, but I love the show so I am not letting it stop me from watching it.

    Re: The Apprentice

In previous seasons Donald had someone to report for him on each team,
now his daughter is to do that by herself??? Stupid. Of course each
team still has it's own camera crews, but I'm sure not fond of his daughter. She kept repeating herself.

And notice how they were advertising this season by reporting positive
    reviews about Donald's daughter . . . . that's rather suspicious. Carolyn
certainly had gained a following over the past few seasons. Perhaps even
more respect than Donald has has gained over the past few seasons

    Re: The Apprentice

This is just rumors but I heard that Trump fired Carolyn because she became to much of a celebrity and became full of herself. Thats just what I heard some where.
Ivanka does a great job on the show. She is really smart and seems to understand what is going on really well.
