I am so sad to hear this! I have always enjoyed him -- I just think he is funny and smart -- and dead sexy.

    .
I was too. His early stuff was awesome. My older sister had all his albums "Lets Get Small" and I have a 45 of King Tut. The Jerk, DMDWP, All Of Me, etc. Great stuff.

    Oh well,

Well, if he's not nice.... mmkay, you can have him -- but only because he's not nice. A man has to play well with others for me to truly love him. Otherwise it'd be a throw down. I'm sure he'd be really sad to know that I'm not going to fight for him.

Having had the op to meet and observe him in the past I'd catergorize his demeanor as fairly typical of many comedians. Aloof, withdrawn, but brilliant and always beautifully dressed. He's no "wild and crazy guy" unless he's "on". And he's in the better-looking in person realm as well!

You're making me love him more. Stop! Seriously, that's exactly how I pictured him in real life. I don't want his "on" Steve, I love his brain. I want to kiss it.

I just hope Steve spells my name right when he writes the Chapter on "his big break".

I think he's talking about you here:
    My memoir

    Dear Friends,

It's reflection time. I have written a memoir about my years as a stand-up comedian, starting at my birth and ending in 1981. It is called "Born Standing Up," and writing it was an enjoyable cruise though the past. It will have some vintage photos too. So that's what I've been doing for the past year, pouring though boxes of memorabilia, and contacting old friends. Hope you enjoy it (it won't be out for a year though).

This should be a great read. One of my all-time favorite movies is 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels'

True. I was suprised to see how short he is though. I literally almost ran into him one day when I was in college. I came thisclose to actually bumping into him- Stink, I almost touched him!
