Looks like it could be cool. WALL-E kind of reminds me of OLD B.O.B. from "The Black Hole". A movie I absolutely loved as a kid.

I loved it too, and I have the Anchor Bay DVD, and though still a guilty cheesy pleasure, it's not near as great as I remember as a kid

ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING will be better than the rat movie. I almost cried when I saw the trailer for that, Pixar does SUCH great films and I love them all...That ratoutolie will be horrible, I can feel it. It just looked incredibly dumb to me. Cars was OK, but nothing compared to the others. Monsters inc and Finding nemo are my favorites.

What, how can a movie be bad when no one has seen it as of yet.

But You are correct on one thing I wish Disney would move past any rodents.

I saw a preview clip of Ratatouille at CES and, Pixar's eye-popping animation notwithstanding, I wasn't impressed. It looks like a typical dream-the-impossilble-dream-but-find-your-place-in-the-world storyline that Pixar and Disney have been known for. Been there, done that. I also thought the lead character, uhhh, rat was kind of dull.

Still, you can't always assess a whole movie after seeing one clip and a few trailers. I recall once upon a time watching a movie clip showing dishes and kitchenware singing and dancing across the screen. I thought it was one of the dumbest things I'd ever seen. Then the movie came out. Beauty and the Beast. 'Nuff said.

That is true. But I'm very much assuming it just won't have the quality of past (besides cars, wh ich was OK) had.

Interesting Tim. I was in a test audience for Finding Nemo, months before it was complete. At the time, I thought the movie lacked pacing and was overly long and boring. However, when they were done with the cuts and added in the score and other music, the movie turned into one of their biggest hits ever.

I had a simular reactin to Ratatouille.

Yet another animal fable, at a time when I think we have had our fill of animal fables of this sort. I just fail to see how 3D animation would make this film better? If it was done in 2D, I think we may find a simular results at the BO...

I am willing to give Pixar a chance... They made this film not knowing who would be distributing it...
