There's a bucket under the Luna family's bathroom sink that holds all the spare change the clan has managed to save for a Disneyland trip since January.
"There's not much," Miroslava Luna said. "Maybe 30 or 50 bucks."
Most of it, she said, has come from leftover lunch money gathered by her 7-year-old son, Esbai Jr., and 5-year-old daughter, Eleni.
The Luna family's Disneyland quest may have gotten off to a slow start, but it picked up serious momentum Tuesday when television host Oprah Winfrey announced she's taking Esbair Jr. — and every other first-grader at Crockett Elementary School — to the California theme park sometime in August.
