Have a nice voyage, Denny Doherty.

The music of The Mamas and the Papas has sustained me through many a dark night and day, a light of heavenly harmony on the horizon.

Thanks, Denny - - your voice was a gift to be treasured.

Zally said, Denny, you know there aren't many
Who can sing a song the way that you do, let's go south
Denny said Zally, golly, don't you think that I wish
I could play guitar like you
Zal, Denny and Sebastian sat, at the Night Owl
And after every number they'd pass the hat
McGuinn and McGuire's still a-gettin' higher
In L.A., you know where that's at
And no one's getting fat except Mama Cass
--Creeque Alley, the Mamas and the Papas

Denny, there weren't very many who could sing a song the way that you did.

Thanks for the music and all you gave us.
