I am uber excited. Can't wait to see how Tim Burton envisions Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, even though I loved Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory, I think Charlie is going to be better. Tim Burton, Johnny Depp, and Danny Elfman is always a winning combination
I totally enjoy Johnny Depp movies, and Tim Burton. At first I wasn't sure what Tim Burton was going too do with Wonka, but from the trailer, it looks great.
A different take it seems like.

I've heard that it's more true to the book than the other one (which I adore like crazy crazy crazy).
I'm not psyched at all for it. My complete and total ambivalence toward this movie from the get-go is weird....it's like everything I love (Johnny, Burton, Elfman, Wonka) wrapped up in a pretty little package, and yet I'm not sure I want to go see this movie at all. And the trailers I've seen have done nothing for me except creep me out a little.
I'll most likely see it, just not right away. When it's $3 and I can see it in a pub theater, while drinking a good strong ale, I'll see it.
This movie will be different from the Gene Wilder movie, for the simple fact it's not a musical. It is supposed to stay truer to the book. Those that view this movie and are expecting a repeat of their experience of seeing the first adaptation of the book may be let down. The teaser trailer is very creepy, but I think it's how I would make the movie. The best part of the first for me was creepy tunnel scene. I think Depp is the perfect person for this role, even if he looks like Marilyn Manson. I look forward to seeing this, even though I know it will either be a hit or miss film for me, and probably just about everyone.
OH I can hardly wait............. when does the movie come out....
As a rule I normally go to the theater to watch Harry Potter......... I did see Star Wars last weekend.......... I will be going to see this.
I don't care, I am not interested in this movie. i am not a big fan of Johnny Depp and I did not really care for origianl Willy Wonka. Iknow, I know, I am definetly in the minority on this one. But when I saw the trailer for the new one coming out, just not something I want to see. now Narvia on the other hand...
To be perfectly honest, while I still am excited to see it, and I'm a fan of everyone involved (Depp, Burton, Elfman), I'm actually starting to feel less excited. After watching the new trailer a couple times, I'm not really sure I like Depp's take on the character. It's not just my love for Wilder's Wonka either, it's just not what I envision for the character. maybe it's just me.
