My wife watches it very closely every episode. I will catch a Tivo episode sometimes with her. Some of the medical problems they run into are not as commonly heard of.(My mother is a nurse)

My entire (meaning four out of five of us) watch House, we record it and I watch it later.
House is brilliant television. Hugh totally deserved that Emmy.
As did America Ferrera but that's a whole other show.![]()
I am a huge fan of House. Never miss an episode. So agree with his winning the Globe. He used to have quite the cockney accent but it has smoothed out a lot I noticed when he did his acceptance speech.
That's pretty much the premise of the show: figure out what diseases or conditions patients have given the symptoms. Hence, they're usually not the common ones.
I'd like it to get out of its current formula, which is:
1. Patient fainting.
2. Team goes over symptoms and patient history.
3. Patient sympathy scene.
4. Team guesses wrong, leads to other symptoms showing.
5. MRI.
6. Minor invasive surgery, until someone comes (or something happens) to stop the procedure.
7. House gets a clue as to what the real problem is and we're in awe of him.
8. House says something stupid to make us hate him again.
"Here You Leave the World of California Today and Enter the World of, um, er, California Today."
Absolutely love it!!!
I try to watch every episode but with work and 2 little ones it's hard.
I Tivo it and watch it when I get a chance if I miss it.
His personality is awesome!
I love House, though I'm not a fan of where the show is going now.
