    Laugh Whore: Showtime

    This is a comedy special on Showtime, with Mario Cantone. I haven't heard of this guy before, but he is a self admitted Disney Nut, and talks about having the fear of the Disney police, and that he was offered to play the part on Timon in the Lion King Broadway production, and why he decided against it.

    And his energy on his comedy special is just as frantic as Timon. Not to mention, he does several imitations including Julia Childs, Cher, Liza, and Shelly Winters.

    you must see this special, and yes, there is a reason why this is on Showtime, and not on ABC. very adult humor.

    I loooove Mario Cantone! He was Anthony on Sex & the City, but before that I'd seen some of his comedy routines and impressions on Comedy Central.

    Our Wicked Playbill has an article about his one-man Broadway show, and my husband was like, "Only YOU would go see a play and spend most of your time glancing at an article about your precious Anthony!"

    I did catch Laughwhore, and his Julia Child's impression was priceless. But his Judy impression just seemed a little tiring. Man that guy has energy!
