I would ask the guard, like NickCharles said, the guards are strict, and from what I remember, not the friendliest, I was questioned a lot when I worked up there, it is NOT Disneyland, it is the CORPORATE headquarters, so they most likely will not have any public access.
Long live the "Happiest Place on Earth" the ORIGINAL, Disneyland.

No they're not the friendliest, or they weren't, and suspicious of everyone!

I was just looking at the lot on Google Maps in satellite view. Oh, the memories! It was such a great, fun experience working there, for a Disney fan, especially working in the building I worked in. I saw all the artwork for all the upcoming FA projects that were coming up and in development, it was hanging all over the walls. Movies in development at that time were Mulan, Tarzan, Sweating Bullets (released as Home on the Range), Atlantis, and Kingdom of the Sun (released as The Emperors New Groove). Monsters Inc, was in very early story development at that time.

One of the old Disney Animators was still there at the time, I can't remember his name now (shame on me) and he was doing concept artwork for "Don Quixote", as a possible animation project. Also, I remember when an Imagineer came over and was making tape recordings off of the soundtrack of the movie "The Haunting" for a rehab of the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland, he was set up right where I was sitting and me an my workmate were talking to him. One thing I did when I was there was edit together a tape cassette of music for Eisner (or MDE as he was referred to alot in internal corporate memos) to listen to as samples IIRC of composers work for the Atlantis project. Working there was a lot of fun and a bit of a dream come true!

    *sigh*

If you still work at DLR maybe you can talk to someone there to get your Q answered...

Barfownz if you work at the Store, you might be able to ask security if you can visit the on-campus Disney Store. Or call the store and ask if you were able to visit. They might be able to get you a drive-on.

*might* is the key word here.

Actually.. it also might help to get your manager to hook it up. Someone on the disney lot might be more willing to do it if it comes from someone in charge, rather than a random store employee.

    Make sense?

I hope you get things sorted out and make it on the lot. It's a cool place, and since it's not a public location, even cooler to visit
