I saw these so you don't have to.
"Norbit": just a recycle of the Nutty Professor/Klumps. Same jokes, same plot, same Eddy Murphy. If you liked the Klumps, you'll eat this up. If you didn't, well, don't bother. Murphy's turn as the Chinese orphanage/restaurant owner is the best character in the movie. For movie geeks, Rick Baker did the prosthetics. Using the Disneyland attraction scale of rating movies, where Pirates of the Caribbean is the best, and Superstar Limo is the worst, this rates as Flik's Fun Fair: fun for some, boring for the rest of us.
Second is "Epic Movie". When you see the trailer say 'from the writers or producers of Scary Movie', run out of the theater screaming. Recent trends of lampooning or making a so-called parody of other recent films has gotten out of hand. "Epic Movie" does not lampoon or parody anything, it's outright theft of the plots of The Davinci Code, Narnia, and Willy Wonka. Nothing original, a bad script, bad directing, bad everything. This is just a house movie for the once-greats such as Fred Willard, who slum their way through their lines with obvious distaste for the whole affair (a 'house movie' is a term coined by Michael Caine, when asked by the press about his role in Jaws 4, said "I have not yet seen it. But, by all accounts the movie is terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific"). Don't waste your money or time on this disaster. Using the Disneyland attraction scale of rating movies, where Pirates of the Caribbean is the best, and Superstar Limo is the worst, this movie rates as Nara Dreamland: a bad rip-off of a legendary original.
