    Re: Star Wars Exhibit

I'm gona piggyback on this trip report. I tried to choose some photos that are different than Frogberto's. While we did run into him and his lovely family, we did not see Jodie Foster or anyone else famous. Outside of MiceChat, that is.

    JP's new car!

A shiny blaster from Naboo. Shiny!

This is how big a jawa is, compared a 9 year old.

    Han Solo- so stylish, so...sassy!

The Zamboni exhibit. Just kidding, it's a hovercraft.

    The inside of Vader.

A bunch of clones, variety pack.

The family shot, complete with purchases at the Star Wars shop.
    A signature should go here.

It is an incredible exhibit. I was fortunate to get to volunteer at the fundraiser Ball this past Sat. Have to HIGHLY recommend the Millennium Falcon simulator. Well worth the wait!!!! (I was lucky and afterwards got to go on it TWICE!!! )

Heading back down to see it again! Just tooo fun.

You guys are so cute! I see you couldn't resist the force... I tried and barely escaped with my wallet intact! Susie, love the photos, love the captions even more, and it was so great to run into you - what a nice surprise!

We were lucky enough to see the exhibit when it was in Portland, OR (we drove down from Seattle,WA). It was totally worth it and the Millineum Falcon simulator was a dream come true. It was facinating to see is the size of things...namely how small the costumes are and how different in height the actors are. We highly reccomend a trip to the exhibit.

This is our favorite picture from the exhibit...the reflection in the glass is our son Harrison, whose Chinese name happens to be Han.

    I can't wait to go!

Though a lot of it looks like recycled material from their previous magic of myth costume tour.

Hmm. I missed that/am not familiar with that tour ... was it just costumes? They claim that a lot of this stuff was never exhibited to the public - so they say.

Wonderful! Han, Solo, next to the Millennium Falcon!

    Re: Star Wars Exhibit

This all looks amazing. Is there a website which lists tour dates outside of California? I've looked in vain to try to find any umbrella website which would list all of the tour cities and dates.

addendum: Forget it. I found a link with tour dates and such:

Yah it was several years ago and in San Diego. It was costumes and props... the first time anything from Episode 1 was put on display too. I'm sure there's a lot more from all films for this one which is worth it enough for me to make a trip!
