    ART SCHOOL CONFIDENTIAL

I loved the first half, really really bored of the second half. I liked the setting of an art school and all the various characters you encounter, but the actual story of a murder mystery was really uninteresting.

The effects were better than I thought they'd be but I dunno... I just didn't really have any fun watching it. I can't wait for Avengers though!

    3 out of 5 stars.

The Barefoot Executive- Saw this last night with my girls. My girls loved it and I had forgotten some scenes were pretty funny. Kurt Russell was only 20yo. in that movie. He is so cute.

Hehe yah I'm tougher than most. I think the fault lies not so much in the film but the story and character. It's Hulk. He's awesome. But the story is more or less the same as the first movie. He gets angry, he fights the government. The only difference this time was that he fights another "hulk" named Abomination. Except that character looks NOTHING like he does in the comic which is slightly disappointing.

    And...

    Spoiler
the movie resolves NOTHING. Banner escapes again to some remote location (again). Betty and her dad never really come together and resolve their differences. Abomination is left alive but why? What happens to him? Why did Betty even stop Hulk from killing him? The professor gets a huge bubble in his head. Is he the one thrown out of the building? To those who don't follow the comics, Professor Samuel Sterns becomes THE LEADER, one of Hulk's archenemies. So basically, I didn't care too much for this movie because it's more of filler of what's to come than actually giving me something to really chow down on this time. Abomination wasn't the great enemy I was hoping for.

Little Children - I wanted to see this when I heard Kate Winslet was nominated for Best Actress, but never got around to seeing it. Finally watched it today with my husband and we both thought it was a good movie. A thought provoking movie. It had some hard issues to deal with, but sometimes you need to see those types of movies. It does give you something to talk about over lunch.

    Twister

It was on the other night so I watched. Just a fun little movie not to be taken too seriously.

Loved reading your spoiler David. You know your comics.

We saw Indiana Jones 4 at the theater a few weeks back. It was pretty good but I didn't really much enjoy the mix with aliens. 3 out of 5

After that we saw National Treasure 2. Great movie! Even better than the first, IMHO. 5 out of 5

I decided to watch The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. (thought we should before we get around to seeing Prince Caspian.) My entire family REALLY enjoyed it. I think it will be one of our new favorites. 5 out of 5

Hot Fuzz - great fun and very funny. It may be more appealing to me because I'm British.

    ^ Hot Fuzz was great.

    Transformers

It was on cable last night, so we stopped and watched. I still enjoy the movie, but don't particularly care for the final battle sequence. There is so much there that doesn't make sense. I know, it's not supposed to, but still.

We went and saw Sex and the City last night just to hang out in the air conditioning.
