WALL-E again. A bunch of my friends wanted to see it so I felt like I should go with them. The thing is, we are going to California next week and hope to stop by the El Capitan theater to see inside. But what will they be playing? WALL-E! I think it is a good movie, but I don't know if I could sit through it a third time.

Batman - Gotham Knight Not sure if this counts for this thread. But it says "movie" on the case, so that's good enough for me. Just watched this on Blu-ray tonight. Like "The Animatrix," it gave the animators a chance to do their interpretation of Batman, both in terms of design and story, over six different shorts, and I had a good time watching it. I thought three of the stories were great while the other three shorts were fine. It also floated lightly as a connective link between "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight," which keeps it loose enough to enjoy entirely on its own. I'm a huge Batman fan tho', so this disc was aimed right between my eyeballs and it definitely hit the mark with me.

2001: A Space Odyssey. It was an alright movie. I was confused for a majority of it though. I got most of up to the destruction of HAL and then I was just plain lost.

We saw Wall*e and loved it!

I just saw "Vantage Point" tonight. It was OK. A night with Matthew Fox can't ever be that bad. I thought they could have cut the different storylines together better instead of rewinding and replaying them all. I guess that was what they were going for, though.

Just saw Eddie Murphy in Meet Dave. I was surprised at how cute and funny it was. My two boys liked it as well. I really like Eddie Murhpy and thought this was the perfect venue for him. He really got to show off some funny moves.

It's not the best comedy of the summer, but it was worth the money for the laughs it gave us.

Iron Man- I know, I'm late. But I wasn't that interested in seeing it but when it hit the bargain theater I thought why not? It was actually pretty good. I loved Gwenyth Paltrow's shoes!!

Hancock, I liked the beginning, but then it skipped to the end with no middle. Could have been great with a bit more story.

Just got home from Get Smart. Fun movie, for sure. Can't say I was wowed, though.

Hellboy II: The Golden Army Can't say that I was wowed, but I did enjoy it a lot. There were plenty of moments when I laughed and there were a number of scenes that I thought were visually spiritual. It's set up for a sequel which I really, really, really hope Del Toro does after The Hobbit films. And speaking of that, I thought watching this flick that this could easily have been an audition tape for the kinds of things he'd want to do in The Hobbit.
