The Stepford Wives--Old SW with Katherine Ross. She's so beautiful. I really love this movie more each time I see it.
    Mommie Dearest--No wire hangers....ever!!
Just Like Heaven--I heart Mark Ruffalo, so he stopped me from throwing Reese Witherspoon off the roof of the building.
Sweet Home Alabama--Ditto with Josh Lucas and McDreamy. Yum.
Thirteen--OMG. What a great movie! My daughter's 12 and I'm not looking forward to next year. Scary good. Holly Hunter is gorgeous.

    Last weekend:
300--I loved it. It was so pretty, and all those six-pack abs in speedos, yum!
Grindhouse--Hilarious!! We laughed the whole time and everyone who had the movie memorized already cracked me up. Will definitely get on DVD to watch over and over again!
The Namesake--Very touching movie. It made me call my mom to say I loved her.
Pirates--Eh. It was by far not the best movie I saw that weekend.

The Right Stuff (yummy Sam Shepard!)
    Snakes on a Plane (eh.)

I think I'm done with my recent movie splurges.

Pirates, I liked it. But I likedit the least of the three.

Stink, what a great movie weekend for you. Mommie Dearest is one of my all time favorites. And Thirteen, that was just such a damn good movie! 300 I so loved that movie, it's playing at the $1 theater here now, I want to take Ky. And I just recently saw Just Like Heaven, it was so cute, I heart Mark Ruffalo also

KNOCKED UP was sooooo funny! Think 40 Year Old Virgin but more nasty humor... which may be a turn off to some of yous, but it was hilarious for me. But through and through it's a serious situation in the film and they treat it as such, so it works.

Everyone should be able to enjoy this... men AND women. Hilarious.

Watched BLADES OF GLORY and it was amusing. Only one big laugh out loud moment for me but not much else. Anchorman is a hard one to beat!

Right now I'm watching YEAR OF THE DOG and it's boooooring!

Dumbo. I haven't seen it since I was little. I forgot how much I liked that movie but you know it really does end adruptly.

The Good German. It was really well done though I didn't think much of the ending.

I have a coupon from Ballbus.... ermmm... Blockbuster... to rent any movie for $1.99 (including new releases). Trying to decide what to use it on. I'm the pickiest movie watcher ever though.

Popped in Disney's CG pigeon movie VALIANT and it's actually not as bad as it looked. But it's still not so good that I'll pop it back in to catch the parts I fell asleep through. But wow, talk about voice talent... Ewan McGregor, Ricky Gervais, Hugh Laurie, Jim Broadbent, John Cleese, Tim Curry... that's pretty good talent!
