OK! So monday night I caught LICENSE TO WED. it was cute, but man... Robin Williams is beyond annoying to me right now. Do studios actually think he draws the audiences in? Or in fact... does he push the majority away? He's a good actor when he wants to be but that man of a million voices schtick is UGH!

And I gave THE BOURNE IDENTITY another chance on DVD and it was much much better! Before, my nick name for the film was 'The Boring Identity' but man I don't see how I could have possibly thought that! Chris Cooper and Clive Owen are two of my favorites and they're great here. Now I'm ready to pop in Supremacy!

I watched the Film Crew version of Hollywood After Dark, which is essentially the resurrection of the long lost Mystery Science Theater 3000. It stars Mike Nelson, Bill Corbett, and Kevin Murphy, the last stars of MST3K, and they, you guessed it, make fun of this awful movie. This was an absolutely HILARIOUS DVD, and I already watched it twice and ordered the next one in the series. So glad to have these guys back doing what they do best.

Oh yah I forgot... I watched VAN WILDER: THE RISE OF TAJ because I loved the first one. This one was so lame. It's not horrible... it's just not laugh out loud funny. It's like every other underdog college movie ever. Spoiled rich brat at the frat house with the hot girlfriend who eventually loses her to the main protagonist who actually has some charm. Been there done that. Move along.

Rush Hour 3 - Watched it Tueday night. I like it. It had some funny parts!! Lots of action. Chris Tucker being himself: Loud, obnoxious, repetitive and lame. Jackie Was ok.

"Hot Rod" ...and it was AWFUL!!!

The funniest moment I experienced while watching it wasn't even in the movie. After this really bizarre 90-second back-n-forth where two characters say "Cool Beans" in a variety of ways, at the moment it concluded, a girl behind me exclaimed, "What is going on in this movie?!?"

It was a rather appropriate question since everyone was probably wondering the very same thing at that point.

"Hot Rod" was an utter waste of time and money.

Becoming Jane. The Mom and I both gave it a 6/10 and agreed they should have cast a Brit as Jane.

Good to know. I wondered because Anne Hathaway didn't pull off a good accent in Nicholas Nickleby. I'll wait for it to come out on dvd and rent it.
