Re: the official "What movie did you just see?" thread!
The last movie I saw in theaters...Ghost Rider. Like said by alphabassetgrrl, the acting is "meh". But Nicholas Cage takes his top off and stares at his nicely scuplted body in the mirror...wowza!
Movie I saw most recently, School for Scoundrels. It was ok. Could have been better, but I did like the ending. They did a good job with that. And Billy Bob Thornton looks good and young without facial hair.

Yeah, exactly
Predictable plot, predictable characters and stupid story
2/10
I saw both movies and disagree 100%. Epic Movie is a .5/10. Not even worth watching because there's nothing funny about it.
Snakes on a Plane though... it was waaay funnier (ok not on purpose). But it at least had Sam Jackson doing his thing and that's always entertaining for a few reasons alone.

I saw Snakes on a Plane in the theaters because I loved everything about it. I loved the pre-release publicity campaign, I loved the premise, and I loved that you knew *exactly* what you were getting. It was just as bad as it should have been. I loved it. At the end they showed the music video and it was awful, too. I laughed.

Really? I actually was expecting a lot more from Snakes on a plane
It looked a lot better than it really was in the trailers. I excegerated a bit too much on my previous post, i should of said it was just a bit disapointing for me personally, i expected too much.
On another note i just saw "Stranger than fiction" I really liked the plot. Its one of those plots thats a bit confusing, and things are repeated muched like Back to the future 1,2 and 3.
Will Farell was wonderful in it. It was a sad story on one hand, and very entertaining. It was also very funny.
8/10 in my opinion

Finally saw Monster House.. while it had some pretty incredible animation..the human figures were more disturbing than the house itself..just looked like they were "slapped together" took away from the film for me. Much MUCH darker than I expected it to be.
Can't really see why it was nominated..
AND "CARS" should have taken that oscar...MUCH MUCH Better film.

I agree about CARS but I have to say that Monster House was at least a decent film. The human figures in Monster House are lightyears ahead of that horrible Polar Express.
Happy Feet.... ugh. If you write down what happens in the film, it looks horrible even on paper.

"Freaks", it's been a couple of years since i've last seen it.
Re: the official "What movie did you just see?" thread!
"Bring It On" - awesome movie!!
Re: the official "What movie did you just see?" thread!
Breach. It was very good, very suspenseful and very well done.
